Chybulski Gallery / Le
Cosset (Beaujolais) and Feldkirch (Vorarlberg- Austria)
Both of these galleries were established in 2005. They use the same
name and logo since the two galleries have their origin in the studio
alliance of Tschika Chybulsky, who have organised projects and
exhibitions at three different venues in Berlin since the late 90's.
Collaborations between the two galleries are part of the concept. The
exhibition "reversible- irreversible" by SP38 was the first event which
was presented in France and Austria. Such exchange exhibitions are
planned to take place once or twice a year. The next one will start in
summer 07 when 3 artists from Vorarlberg (Edgar Leissing/ Barbara
Husar/ Rainer Rainer) will come to the Beaujolais with their paintings,
followed by the exhibition of 3 French artists (Michel Corbex/ Uli
Traunspurger/ Nathalie Moulin Paliard) in Feldkirch in the autumn of
the same year.
The motivation for such co-operations is based on the
fact that both regions are somewhat aside of the international
artistry. The joint projects strengthen the individual situation of
each host. In addition it helps to overcome the problem that foreign
artists meet with little response in our semi-rural regions. The
principle is that locals establish their foreign colleagues by inviting
local gallery owners, collectors, pressmen, and friends to these
events.
